Rosary Way

Helena Brennan was comissioned in 2001 by the Oblate fathers in Tirconnell Road, (Inchicore, Dublin 9) to reinterpret the sacred mysteries in a woodland area in the grounds of the Church.

The four years of work designing and making the Rosary Way was born of a conviction that her skills could be best used making the sacred mysteries more accessabile, so that they can be seen to be the oft repeated stories of our own and our families lives.

The Rosary Way is made of porcelain ceramic, mounted in white concrete.

One of the initial drawing for "kingdom".
The finished ceramics plate for "the presentation".
The mounted ceramic interpretation of "the scurging" in the woodlands.
